Oregon Partners of the Americas is hosting a group of visitors from Costa Rica for the month of September in Oregon.  The goal of this program is to introduce both partners to the culture of the other, through language, food, shared housing and experiences. We find that lasting, friendly, relationships occur in a more natural manner this way: new friends from another land become like family. This program is NOT for those seeking an inexpensive vacation but, rather, those that seek to share the wonders of each country, and the willingness to become ambassadors of both.

We are seeking new Host Families in all four host cities for the Costa Rican Partners who will be arriving on the 8th of September.  We are trying a new system called Signup.com to help recruit and organize our upcoming SignUps of Host Families.

Here’s how it works in 3 easy steps:

1) Click on one of these links to see our SignUp on SignUp.com:

For Astoria: http://signup.com/go/yLTNF9

For Bend: http://signup.com/go/e68r1Q

For Hood River: http://signup.com/go/GMXd3k

For Portland: http://signup.com/go/uccYEj

2) Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like.
3) Sign up! It’s Easy – you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on SignUp.com.

SignUp.com does not share your email address with anyone. If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact Gayle Wallace (nopogayle@live.com) to sign you up manually.

The Costa Ricans will be involved in Partners-guided events and activities planned for most days.   We can arrange for day hosts if you can not be available during the day.  For more information please email nopogayle@live.com.

Thank you for your continued support for building a better relationship with our Tico friends.
